About Chris
From a young age, I have always been fascinated with media and advertising. I excelled in visual arts in school, and I graduated high school as an expert in digital graphic arts (at a time when many of my teachers were learning how to use a computer mouse).
While focusing my initial career efforts in the field of graphic design and photography, in the late 1990’s I witnessed with amazement the transformation of the World Wild Web from an obscure ‘nerd niche’ into the all-encompassing network of interactive information that it is today. At that point I realized the new direction that media was going and decided to adjust my career path to include website development in addition to graphic design and photography.
After college-level training in basic business website design, I entered the workforce as a web designer. Constantly trying to push my skills to the next level, I kept on top of new advancements in the industry and maintained a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
I am currently working as a freelance designer and developer, and I boast a high level of first-hand knowledge and experience when it comes to building successful online presences for small businesses. In addition to my own marketing efforts, I regularly provide web & graphic design services for several companies on a contract basis.
One important thing that my experience with multiple forms of media has taught me is that as we go forward, we can never underestimate the value of integrated marketing. A company that puts all of their marketing efforts into just one level of online or print media will not see the success that comes from integrating multiple forms of media together. Online marketing should feed off of print media, which should feed off of social media, and so on.

I live in the inner Southeast corner of the amazing city of Portland, Oregon, which boasts temperate (although somewhat rainy) weather year-round, beautiful landscapes in every direction, friendly people, and an all-around high quality of life. Outside of my work, I'm persuing a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Together with my wife and best friend Amy, we work hard at raising our autistic son Sage, and our newest member of the family - Evelyn, who was born last November.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you’ll find something interesting! I’m always available to grab a coffee and discuss the finer parts of marketing with potential clients, so if you have a need that you’d like to sit down and discuss, just let me know. I’d be happy to pencil you in!
